Candy Bows ("We") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

Other examples include racial and ethnic origin, sexual orientation, health data, trade union membership, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs.
Processing - means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Third party - means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

6. Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential, and will be shared only with:
Royal Mail. Online systems to process our postal deliveries, when you place an order
Mailchimp (our newsletter). We only do this with your express consent
We take every precaution to protect your information. To this end all personal information stored by us is kept on a virtual private server in a secure environment by Shopify.
Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") encryption technology is used for protection of information in transit for any sensitive transactions such as payments.
We do not store or process your card details ourselves, they are processed and stored via one of our contracted third party service providers. Either Stripe or PayPal, depending on which option you chose at checkout.
We never share your data except to process your order and send out our newsletters.
7. How long do we keep your personal data?
The data you provided when you placed an order will be kept until you delete your account, or request us to do so.
Your payment details are not kept after the transaction has been completed
When you sign up to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time and your details will be removed from our mailing list.

• The right to object to the processing of personal data, (where applicable i.e. where processing is based on legitimate interests (or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority); direct marketing and processing for the purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics).
