Refunds for CLASS(ES) and COURSE(S)

Because we limit the number of students in a given course to 4-6 students, to keep the quality of the teaching from being diluted,  when you cancel without adequate notice, the seat will likely remain empty.  This means another student could have attended that course.  Many of our students come from out of town or fly in from other countries.  Last minute cancellations affect students' travel logistics and our own internal future course planning. Please be aware of the impact on all of last minute cancellations.

  1. Purchases of classes and courses can only be refunded within 48 hours of registration. Please send your request for refund by email using our contact form within the time limit. Please note that all refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee and an additional $40 processing fee. Alternatively, the student can re-book at the next available time or transfer their credit to a friend/family member.
  2. If you sign up and pay for a class/course and are unable to attend, please contact us to cancel at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of the class/course. In fairness to other students, if you contact us with less than 72 hours notice then there will be a rescheduling fee of $50. You can re-book the same class/course upon availability, however priority will be given to those students already booked in those future time slots. And, if you need to reschedule your class(es) more than 72 hours in advance, the first change is $25, any change after that will be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. Less than 24 hour notice to reschedule is subject to a higher fee and based on the cost of the course purchased.
  3. A class/course could occasionally be cancelled if there is insufficient interest, equipment problems, a teacher has an emergency or force majeure. If the class/course is cancelled you will be notified by email as soon as possible, and given instructions to re-book at a later date.

“No Show” Policy

If a student misses a class(es) (is a no show) and also fails to notify us before the class(es) commence or provides inadequate notice to fill your spot, you thereby give us the capacity to reschedule the class(es) at a time based upon availability. Priority will be given to those students already booked in those future time slots. Please note, all no shows/last minute cancellations, will be charged 50% of their original purchase fee to reschedule or you forfeit your registration.  Because we limit the number of students in a given course to 6 students, to keep the quality of the teaching from being diluted, when you are a no show the seat will remain empty.  This means a student could have attended that course.  Many of our students come from out of town and or fly in from other countries.  Our classes are small (limited to 6 students), not showing up or cancelling at the last minute affects our course planning in the future as we use another spot in the next course. Please be aware of the impact of not attending a class, as our instructor will wait for you to arrive before beginning the class. Our classes are designed for students 16 years of age and older. Our minimum age requirement is 14 when accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult is required to pay in the full amount to and register for the same class(es) and date(s).
