SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number, and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to help us learn about your browser and operating system.

We collect phone numbers to communicate with you about orders, shipping updates, promotional offers, and SMS-based cart reminders. Phone numbers collected for SMS marketing are stored securely and are never shared or sold to unaffiliated third parties.

Pierco Inc.'s website uses cookies and/or plugins to help track items you place in your cart and identify when a cart has been abandoned. This information may be used to trigger SMS messages reminding you about your cart.


SECTION 2 – CONSENT

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing or SMS messaging, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to decline.

How do I withdraw my consent?

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Note: The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.


SECTION 4 – SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data encrypted via PCI-DSS. Your purchase data is stored only as long as necessary to complete the transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to PCI-DSS standards managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort by brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide.

Some providers, such as payment gateways, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we provide them. We recommend you review those policies to understand how your information will be handled.

If you proceed with a transaction involving a third-party provider, your information may be subject to laws of the jurisdiction in which that provider operates (e.g., the U.S. Patriot Act for U.S.-based services).

Once you leave our store or are redirected to a third-party site or app, this Privacy Policy no longer applies.

Note: Any mention of third-party data sharing excludes SMS opt-in data and consent, which are never sold or shared with unaffiliated third parties.

Google Analytics:
We use Google Analytics to understand who visits our site and what pages are viewed.


SECTION 6 – SECURITY

We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your information from loss, misuse, access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

If you provide your credit card information, it’s encrypted using SSL and stored with AES-256 encryption. While no method is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and accepted industry standards.

Abandoned Cart Reminder:
These cookies are also used to identify if you've left items in your cart. If you’ve opted into SMS, we may use this data to send you a cart reminder.


SECTION 8 – LOCATION TRACKING

If you enable location tracking or use location-based services on our site (e.g., for event reminders or local pickup), we may collect that data with your consent to enhance your user experience. This data is used solely for service personalization and is not shared with third parties.


SECTION 9 – AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state/province, or that you have given consent for any minors in your care to use the site.


SECTION 10 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you here so you know what has changed.

If Pierco is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners.

Mobile Terms of Service

The Pierco Inc. mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Pierco Inc. (“Pierco Inc.”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Pierco Inc.’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Pierco Inc. through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Pierco Inc.. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18334549238 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Pierco Inc. mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
